Its portfolio includes skincare, haircare, body care and sun-protection products targeting concerns such as acne, pigmentation, ageing and dryness. Founded by Mohit Yadav and Rahul Yadav, the brand scaled rapidly through its D2C model before expanding into retail and international markets. In 2025, Hindustan Unilever acquired a 90.5% stake in Minimalist, bringing the brand into its Beauty & Wellbeing portfolio.
