Dheya Engineering Technologies, also known as DheyaTech, is a Bengaluru based deeptech company developing indigenous small gas turbine engines and advanced energy systems. Founded by aerospace engineers with experience at GE Aviation and Rolls Royce, the company focuses on technologies for aerospace propulsion, advanced aerial platforms, distributed power generation and clean energy. Its gas turbine portfolio covers approximately 20 kgf to 400 kgf of thrust. DheyaTech has also developed its own adaptive Engine Control Unit and worked with IISc Bengaluru on a hydrogen based flexi fuel combustor for a 60 kW turbogenerator. The company says its technologies are already serving Indian defence customers and that it has confirmed orders from Indian and global OEMs. It is also pursuing independent airworthiness certification under the CEMILAC and DRDO framework. In September 2026, DheyaTech raised ₹43 crore, or about $4.5 million, in a round led by Avaana Capital with strategic investor Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing. The funding will support production scaling, an integrated engine testing facility and commercial deployments.
