Uolo is a Gurugram based EdTech company that partners with K-12 schools to deliver structured learning programs and technology solutions. The company combines school platforms with curriculum focused programs in areas such as English communication, coding, mathematics and life skills. Uolo also extends learning beyond the classroom through home practice tools and AI powered learning companions. Its school focused model allows Uolo to distribute educational programs through existing school relationships rather than relying entirely on direct consumer acquisition. The company currently works with more than 2,500 schools and reaches over 1.1 million paying students across India. In December 2025, Uolo raised $7 million in a Pre-Series B round led by Five Sigma, with participation from Blume Ventures, Morphosis Venture Capital and Alicorn. The company plans to use the funding to expand its school network and strengthen its generative AI learning products. Uolo's business has evolved significantly since its earlier school communication platform, following the acquisition of Uolo Technology by the current Uolo EdTech venture in 2020.
